I liked this set because the medallion was easy to cut out, and
the leaves made a nice background with versamark.

May 2013 card classes

Hello Ladies,
I hope you are enjoying these spring days, yes it suppose to frost this evening,
we except what ever we get it just might be 90 degrees in a few days.
This month we are making 2 different techniques,
White wash painting and Penny spinner cards.
This is a very busy time of year so I looked for ideas around the web to case
and I fell in love with these cards.

Stampin' Up! Banner with new colors


Hello Ladies,

At our last team meeting, I challenged the ladies to make a banner,
 they could make theirs with any theme.
Everyone had to use some of our new colors  from the Color Refresh.
This was my banner, I chose to use Bermuda Bay, Crushed Curry and Soft Sky
 along with some of the returning colors.
I did use some the retiring stamps and supplies but I love how this turned out.
Be sure to check back tomorrow to see the great job the ladies did,
I am featuring them on Saturday.

Side Step Scrapbook class 5-1-13

Side Step Scrapbook Class


The ladies that attended my 1st of  2  Side Step Scrapbook classes last evening
had a fun time making 3 different mini scrapbooks using just 1/2 of a Simply Scrappin kit.
Everyone received one of 2 different kits using Razzleberry Splash or Afternoon Daydream
Simply Scrappin kits by Stampin' Up! This kit was designed by Leann Greff.

This is the basic kit in Razzleberry Splash.

I loved the ideas these ladies added to their books!!!

The second class is on May 6th 6pm
RSVP's are required for this class
Class fee $18.00 for 3 different scrapbooks
I do have a couple of spots available if you are interested in joining us.
If this date doesn't work for you, I would be happy to order the supplies
for this class at a later date before the kits are gone from the Retiring Accessory list.

March card classes,

Hello Ladies
,I want to share the cards my classes will be making in March.
The 1st card was cased from Jill Hadley.  With Easter just a couple of weeks away,
I thought this card was just what you needed to get you in the mood for spring.


 You asked for it, another manly card!!!!
This card was cased from Dawn Olchefske, I made a few
small changes but the ladies at class last night loved how simple
this card was to make.

 I used the soon to be retiring in colors ( Calypso Coral and Pool Party) for this card, 
plus the Secret Garden stamp set and flowers from the Pop-Up Posies Designer kit. 
 If you look close at the bottom of the card you will see we did a little
 emboss resist technique  using the Delicate Details Lace tape
from page 3 in the Stampin' Up! spring catalog.  We laid the lace tape across our card
and inked with a sponge in Calypso Coral ink over and around the tape.  We then removed the
tape and returned it to the sheet it was packaged on, this reveled the above design.
  The best part is, you can use the tape over and over again,
 we used the same tape on 8 different cards

This is a Cindy "original" I designed this card for swaping at Leadership
this year.  We colored the butterfly using the Baby Wipe Technique.
The Swallowtail stamp is a very large Stampin' Up! background stamp that 
is a little awkward to place on your card, so we stamp the part we like the best.

February 2013 Technique class Chalk board

This is the card I chose to feature our chalk board technique 
this month, that was designed by Jenny Peterson using the 
Making a Wish stamp set from the Stampin' Up! Spring catalog.

You will get to choose 1 of these three designs to make the bonus card this
month.  The Sale-a-bration stamp set Feeling Sentimental is the feature of 
this card.  I used several ideas I saw using this set to make these cards, sorry
I just don't have the names to give credit.
I just loves these two cards so yep!!! I just had to case them,
the card on the left was by Mercedes Weber and the one on the right
was designed by Ann Schach. We are going to learn to die silk flowers.

I hope you are going to enjoy the cards we will be making this month.
